About me
My name is Andrew Garrett and I am currently a senior at South Western High School. I am currently enrolled in Principles of Engineering, a Project Lead the Way course at my High school. I have played soccer all 4 of my high school years and play it outside of school as well. I intend to go to Penn State University with a major in Civil Engineering. Principles of Engineering is my first PLTW course. However, many other classes I have taken have helped prepare me, such as Physics, Computer Aided Drafting, and Calculus.

Conclusion
This class has taught me many things from direct knowledge of subjects to engineering in general. I've learned how to code and I've added to my knowledge of Physics. I learned about pneumatic and hydraulic systems and how they work. I learned how to calculate trusses and I re-insured my knowledge of statistics. I also learned the importance of using your resources to your advantage and that it essential to plan your project in order to be successful. I learned that you should always right things down and the more testing the better so you can be prepared for any problems. I worked on my cooperation skills since each project had a partner to work with. Overall this class has been one of the most useful and challenging classes I have taken at South Western and I've learned much more than I thought I would.
